2010 Racing Season is Here04/22/2010
Nearing the beginning of our 2010 racing season, I just wanted to give a few updates. This year has brought us a few new changes and a few new sponsors I wanted to mention. As you can see, the car has a brand new look thanks to Overnight Wraps. We are displaying the Susan G Komen, Race For A Cure sponsorship across the car. Other sponsors include GRP Motorsports, North Country Bridal, Justice Brothers, Bakken Custom Coach, Terry's Auto, and M&K Laundromat. Thank you to everyone for helping out. I also want to give a special thanks to Westin Schrepfer, my crew man and his grandparents, Jim and Marilyn. I also want to thank Matt Dickey, Cindy Stordahl, and Rusty Monroe. I couldn't do it without all your help! We plan on opening our 2010 racing season at Kopellah Speedway in St Croix Falls, Wi tomorrow night, 4/23/10. Hopefully we can bring a win home! We would like to see you all out there too!

Good finish at Arlington!07/11/2009
We decided to give it another try and went to Arlington Speedway in Arlington, MN. We came out ahead with a heat race win and then jumped out into the lead early in the feature. Going into turn two on the second lap, Rob lost his right front shock. He continued to lead minus shock for the first 10 laps of the scheduled 15. Around lap 10 the tranny started to slip. He held on to the end finishing 3rd, minus the right front shock and a broken transmission.

April and May 2009 Recap05/27/2009
Here we are two months into the racing season and haven't given much for updates so I thought I'd just give you a quick recap of what we have been through so far. The season started off at Chateau Raceway where we were running 5th in the A-Main only to have the new motor blow up in the final laps. We were quick to get another motor together to run the following weekend. April 24th we ran at Kopellah Speedway in St. Croix Falls, WI continuing a bad luck streak with a brake floater breaking in the heat race. After spending the remainder of the evening fixing that, we went to Cedar Lake the next day where we won the B-feature and went on to finish the 9th in the A-Main. One would think that bad luck finally would start to turn around. We decided to try again at Kopellah Speedway on May 1st only to have another motor give out. We were lucky enough to have someone borrow us a motor which we spent the night putting in in order to race at Cedar Lake on May 2nd where we won the B-Feature again and then took 11th in the A-Main. The following weekend, May 8th, was back to Kopellah Speedway. Things finally seemed to be looking good again and we are starting to work out the bugs in the car and get it handling real good but as Rob's saying goes, "Bad luck is better than no luck" and once again we lose another motor while winning the A-Feature. We have taken the last couple weeks off to try and get things back together and figure out a plan to get the car going again. We plan on being back out this weekend with a new attitude and a trophy would be nice too.

Bad Luck is Better Than No Luck05/05/2009
After a series of blown motors, bad calls and DNF's frustration levels are high, but have not slowed us at RCJ Motorsports at all. We have been very busy making changes and trying to figure out how to make the racecar as fast as possible. We have had 2 B-feature wins in the last two weeks at Cedar Lake Speedway with a 9th and 11th place finish in the A-Main to follow. Last Friday night at Kopellah Speedway we were winning the heat race when the motor blew up so we would like to give a special thanks to Dennis Stordahl for letting us borrow his brand new motor on short notice so we could run at Cedar Lake on Saturday. This weekend we are going to travel down south to Chateau Raceway and Deer Creek Speedway to give it another shot down there so we will be looking forward to seeing any of you who would like to come support the team!
